I’ve talked to a lot of entrepreneurs who know they have gifts, and also know they need to make money outside of those gifts until they can profit off them. So in the meantime, they do what they know or have experience at and struggle.

Is this you, friend?

Do you really want to make an impact on people’s lives and yet you sit and do administrative work?
Do you want to make passive income but struggle with what you are already doing to make the finances work?
Do you hate big portions of what you are doing but don’t know how to get out of it?

The problem is when we are struggling – whether that is financially, physically, spiritually or mentally – we have a hard time to see the big picture and keep our eyes on the dream. I mean, it’s hard to dream if life feels like a struggle.

So we focus on what we are doing to make ends meet and continue the struggle while pushing our dreams further and further out.

Making us wonder, will we ever get to building that dream.

The hard truth is no.

No you cannot get to the dream if you never focus on it. It won’t be handed to you by the Universe in most cases until you put your focus on it and if you spend all your time in a scarcity mindset, you’re likely not to get to that dream until something shifts.

We need to think abundance. We need to think about how we can incorporate the dream into what we are doing or work on it on the side – even if it’s just a little at a time. One step a month is better than no steps at all, and more importantly, it brings our focus back to the possibilities of the dream rather than scarcity and fear.

Scarcity and fear have never brought success until they are shifted. You can feel fear and take the steps anyway, but allowing it to stop you is self-sabotage.

How can you move forward on the big dreams today?

Even if you are jam-packed with a to-do list, I challenge you to take just a few moments and think about the dream. If you don’t have a dream, start visualizing one. Unless you are already enjoying the dream – then congratulations!
